When cruising along the scenic Old Khandala Ghat en route to Pune, one delightful destination you absolutely must stop at is Meeting Point Café. This charming roadside eatery is not just a pit-stop; it's a culinary landmark that evokes nostalgia and flavors that linger long after your meal.

Celebrated primarily for its fantastic wada pav, Meeting Point combines traditional flavors with the simplicity of a roadside tapri. Each bite of their signature dish is a medley of spicy, savory goodness — the wada is delectably crispy on the outside, with soft, flavorful potato filling that dances on your palate. The pav is fresh and fluffy, making it the perfect vessel for this iconic Mumbai snack.

But that’s not all! Don't miss out on the heavenly onion pakoda, which is crispy and light, making it an ideal partner for a piping hot cup of tea, especially during the cozy monsoon months. Clients like Jaee Sakhalkar rave about how the taste remains unchanged throughout the years, making it a reliable choice for a quick snack. Others, like Vishant, commend the environment, where the fog adds a magical touch to the experience, turning a simple meal into a cherished memory.

The charm of Meeting Point lies not just in its delectable offerings but in the nostalgia it evokes. As Abhijeet Barve fondly recalls, this spot brings back memories of highway journeys filled with laughter and good food. It transcends mere convenience to become a comforting ritual for many travelers. The owner’s commitment to authenticity shines through, as pointed out by Anne Barretto, who admires the tried-and-true recipes maintained with care and love.

With fast service that welcomes you from as early as 6 AM, Meeting Point ensures you can kickstart your adventure with quality refreshments. This is where the old and young alike find something to bring their journey to life, all while enjoying the rich flavors that define Maharashtra’s street food culture.

If you find yourself in the Khandala Ghat region, make it a point to visit Meeting Point. There's something profoundly satisfying about savoring delicious food while soaking in the beauty of nature, creating an experience that is both invigorating and memorable.

Very tasty wada pav on the highway near Khopoli. The taste of his wadapav hasn’t changed over the years. Great spot for a quick tea or coffee break on the way.

Awesome taste of vadapav and onion pakoda. Visit every year in monsoon. Such a relief to visit in rainy season with fogg. Tea and onion pakoda are must try items here. Located in ghat. We always take halt here before continuing to our journey. Must visit.

I have travelled 90 kms one way just to enjoy the "garma garam" pakodas n chai. Absolute destination to refresh n refill yourselves with good chai, pakoda or vada before taking on the twisties of the ghat.
